For the Queen of Your Heart: A Mother’s Day Indulgence at Tulla Patisserie

There is no love quite like a mother’s. It is patient, warm, and just a little bit sweet—much like the aroma of fresh butter and vanilla that drifts through Tulla Patisserie & Cafe every morning.

This Sunday, words might fail, but your dessert plate shouldn’t. We have crafted two very special, limited-edition treats for the leading lady in your life. Whether she is a traditional soul or an adventurer with a fork, we have the perfect “Je t’aime” waiting for her.

The Starlet: Red Velvet Cupcakes

Every mother is a star, and this cupcake is her crown.

Our Red Velvet Cupcake is not your average bakery affair. We start with our feather-light, cocoa-kissed sponge—dyed that iconic, romantic crimson. But the magic happens at the topping: a silky swirl of authentic French cream cheese buttercream, whipped until it resembles clouds. We finish it with a dusting of ruby-red shimmer and a single white chocolate heart.

Why Mom will love it: It is the comfort of homemade, elevated by French technique.

The Bright Spark: Lemon Raspberry Danish

Does your mom wake up earlier than everyone else? Does she prefer her coffee on the patio with the morning paper? Then the Lemon Raspberry Danish was baked just for her.

Imagine this: 36 layers of pain au levant dough, blistered and golden. Inside, a house-made lemon curd that sings with bright, sunny citrus. We nestle fresh, jammy raspberries into every divot, then glaze the whole creation with a wildflower honey spritz.

Why Mom will love it: It is elegant, refreshing, and not too heavy—perfect for a long, lazy breakfast in bed (or at one of our cafe tables).

A Bientôt, Maman

We have a very limited number of these specials available each day. The Red Velvet Cupcakes sell by the box (or as a single “bouquet topper”), and the Lemon Raspberry Danishes will be pulled hot from the oven .

Pro Tip: Order online for pickup or come early to snag the best seat in the house. Let Tulla handle the cooking this Saturday &  Sunday—you just handle the hugs.

Happy Mother’s Day from our kitchen to yours.
